Opel Mobile specialises in mobile phones for seniors, kids, and the vision and hearing impaired. Although you could find their mobile phones at big retailers such as JB Hi-Fi and Australia Post, they had absolutely no online presence.
Local Digital was tasked with designing and creating a website from scratch as well as deploying an SEO campaign to not only increase brand awareness but also have them appear at the top of Google for their target keywords.
We had to start from scratch.
The first cab off the rank was to design and build Opel Mobile a website to showcase all their products. SEO was factored in from the ground up.
Whilst building the site, we conducted keyword research & mapping to identify the high-value keywords relevant for all of the main pages on the site. We then mapped these keywords out to each page, ensuring the page targeted just one or two closely related keywords.
Our copywriter wrote SEO optimised copy for the homepage and product pages. This copy used our proven optimisation process, utilising the main keyword targeted in the mapping process, but then also using the synonyms and related keywords Google considers relevant.
Our outreach team focused on building a combination of new local directory and citation links as well as acquiring authority links from high-value domains. These links helped to build the trust and credibility of the domain in the eyes of the Google algorithm.
